Guest and Programming Announcements Coming Soon!

MORE GUESTS: Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) and Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan)

Hi all! As you can probably tell, PotterVerse is kicking into high gear. You can expect a TON of updates and additions in the coming weeks since we have just finished working on (Re)Generation Who: Baltimore’s Doctor Who Convention, which was our biggest success yet!

I am pleased to welcome Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) and Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan) to our PotterVerse family!

They are joining Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley), Miriam Margoyles (Professor Sprout), and Adrian Rawlins (James Potter). Always check our guest page for the most updated list.

But before you ask (because I know some people will), this is not the end of guest announcements.

This is us just getting started. We can’t wait to welcome you to the con this year. We pride ourselves in welcoming families of all shapes, sizes, and genders and truly creating a friendly atmosphere where everyone can have fun, express themselves, and feel welcome. That’s why meeting all of the guests are included in general admission and we have activities and programming for every member of the family – even the little ones! The personal experience you have with us takes a bit of work behind the scenes to set up but we feel it’s worth it and wouldn’t do it any other way! :D

Thank you so much for your support. Your ticket purchases directly allow us to bring this event to Baltimore and we appreciate you so much!

Artist Alley and Vendor Applications Now Under Review

We are actively reviewing all of our Artist Alley and Vendor applications for PotterVerse and will be sending out approvals this week. If you are interested in being in either area you will want to get your application in soon, since we have received a large number of them already and may be close to selling out. To submit an application go to either our Artist Alley page, or Vendor Room page and use the form at the bottom of the page to apply.

Please make sure to read all of the information one each page so you understand which location works best for you, and that you agree to all of the terms of the application.

First Round of PotterVerse Guests Announced

PotterVerse is very happy to announce the first group of guests for the event this year.

First up is actor Chris Rankin. Chris played “Percy Weasley”, the brother of Ron Weasley, in the films, and is also the co-founder of a theatre company, Painted Horse UK.

Next up is Adrian Rawlins. Adrian played “James Potter”, Harry’s father, in the film series, and has appeared in a wide range of films and series– including Doctor Who, Misfits, Father Brown, and many others.

And then we come to Miriam Margoyles. Miriam played “Professor Pomona Sprout” in the film series, and has a long career in theater, film, and movies–with major appearances in many of the different seasons of the UK series “Blackadder”.

We are working hard on a large number of additional guests, so check back over the next few weeks as we grow the guest list.

Here’s some printable cards for gift-giving! Baltimore’s Harry Potter Fan Convention wishes you a Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy PotterVerse!

Hi everyone!

I’ve been getting so many messages from you all about this con and it warms my heart to see all of the love out there this holiday season! I know that many of you are giving PotterVerse tickets as gifts this year. In order to make it more festive, I’ve gone ahead and designed some cute cards that you can print and personalize to surprise your loved ones with. I have them here in .doc and .PDF format. This has two folded 4.25 x 5.5 inch (A2 size) cards per page and works with Avery 3268, 3379, 5315, 8315, and 8317. That’s 2 cards per page and the 3268 template even comes with little envelopes!

I always get great ideas from you all. Thank you so much for registering for the con. I cannot wait for 2017!

Click here and download a .zip file with both .DOC and. PDF files for your at-home printing enjoyment.

If you are also gifting tickets to our other convention, (Re)Generation Who: The Doctor Who Convention for Every Generation, click here to get printable cards themed for that convention.

Baltimore's Harry Potter Convention

Thank you!

We have a backlog now of emails and will be getting to them as soon as we can. In the meantime follow us on Twitter, like our Facebook page, and bookmark this site. I’ll be posting a ton of updates here as soon as the ink dries!

Local Fan Outreach Program:

If you run a local Harry Potter fan organization, event, or gathering we are interested in talking with you. Since 2010, my organization has done extensive work in our communities and I’ve been very vocal about helping empower fans of all types, all genders, and all cultures. This means that if you run a Harry Potter fan organization you can apply to get a free table and 2 badges to attend our con and use the table to give away flyers and otherwise promote your organization within our convention. We’ll even be interviewing you all and promoting you in our marketing channels as well.

It gets better. If you request it we also will add your group to our official programming schedule so that you can hold meet ups and events that will help your group find more support. Cosplay meet up? Game Show? Informational session? We got your back.

Everything is on topic as long as it shows your love of Harry Potter.

Severus Snape Love Crafting at Baltimore's Harry Potter Convention!

We’ve been doing it like this since 2010 at Intervention and 2015 at (Re)Generation WHO. Our community focus is key to who we are and will never disappear.

To get in touch you would use our contact form. Please note that we have just launched and the holidays are approaching so there may be a short delay until you hear back. The big announcements for this con will start this January!

Again – thank you so much. It’s a true honor to be able to work on this. You are the reason why we do this! :)
