Natalia Tena – Nymphadora Tonks

Natalia Tena began her life as a busker on the London Underground, and went on to learn to play the accordion while working with theater group KneeHigh. In 2002, she made her professional acting debut as Ellie in the film About a Boy.

In 2007, Tena began playing Nymphadora Tonks in the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She would go on to play Tonks four more times in the remaining movies, as well as produce and star in the featurette “Trailing Tonks.”

Tena is known to Game of Thrones fans for her role as Osha in the HBO series, and to BBC television fans for her appearance in the Black Mirror Christmas special “White Christmas.” She is also currently the lead singer and accordion player for the band Molotov Jukebox.

Miriam Margolyes – Professor Sprout

Oxford-born actress Miriam Margolyes has achieved renown in both the UK and US, on both stage and screen. Fans may recognize her from films such as Little Shop of Horrors, Yentl, Cold Comfort Farm, and The Age of Innocence, for which she won a BAFTA Best Supporting Actress award in 1993. She’s also known to fans of British television for playing Infanta Maria Escalosa, Lady Whiteadder, and Queen Victoria in Blackadder, as well as appearing in Vanity Fair, Cold Comfort Farm, and many others.

Margolyes’s stage career includes performances as Wicked‘s Madame Morrible both in London and on Broadway, London productions of She Stoops to Conquer and Orpheus Descending, and her one-woman show Dickens’ Woman, which was performed at festivals worldwide. In 2015 she premiered her one-woman musical The Importance of Being Miriam on tour across Australia.

In the world of Harry Potter, Margolyes appeared in Chamber of Secrets and Deathly Hallows Pt. II as Professor Sprout, Hogwarts’s Herbology teacher and Head of Hufflepuff House.

Devon Murray – Seamus Finnigan

Irish actor Devon Murray made his debut at the age of six in the film This Is My Father, after which he rose to public attention in Angela’s Ashes. In 2000 he was cast as Seamus Finnigan in the Harry Potter film series, and has since appeared in all eight films.

Murray has also appeared in the TV movie Yesterday’s Children and the short film Gone Fishing, as well as providing the voice of Seamus for the Deathly Hallows video game.

Chris Rankin – Percy Weasley

Chris Rankin began his life as an actor in Northgate High School productions after moving to the UK from New Zealand. His professional acting career began in 2000 when he landed the big-screen role of Percy Weasley, and he went on to star in six Harry Potter films during his time in the role.

Since then, Rankin has split his time amongst stage, screen, and television. His credits include television miniseries The Rotters’ Club and Victoria Cross Heroes. On the stage, he has appeared in several pantomimes, as well as productions of Wuthering Heights, Hedda Gabler, and Salomé.

Rankin has also delved into the world of online fandom, making cameos on The Hillywood Show and producing and starring in LifeHack, made with TomSka (a project they made whilst studying together at university). He founded the UK’s Painted Horse Theatre Company, and currently works in film and television production. He has worked on series such as Atlantis and Downton Abbey.

Adrian Rawlins – James Potter

Actor Adrian Rawlins made himself known to many in the role of Arthur Kidd in the 1989 adaptation of The Woman in Black, and has appeared in many films and television series during the course of his career. Harry Potter fans know him best as the recurring character of James Potter in the films. (He and James Potter also happen to share a birthday!)

His television career includes recurring roles in series such as Prisoners Wives, Mayday, and Glue, as well as guest roles on Doctor Who, Spooks, Misfits, and Death in Paradise. Also in 1989, he appeared in the television adaptation of The Ginger Tree. Most recently, he starred as Bleak House‘s Edward Barbary in the 20-part BBC One series Dickensian.

Next, Rawlins can be seen in the miniseries Innocent.
